These are our standard treatment prices. Free consultations, supported-contribution options and all likely costs will be discussed before you decide whether to proceed.

Free medical tattooing consultation

A private 30-minute consultation to discuss your goals, medical and healing history, suitability, expected results and the likely number of sessions. Treatment is not carried out during this appointment, and there is no obligation to proceed.

Photographs and a short pre-consultation form may be requested before your appointment. Where appropriate, a test patch will be carried out during the consultation at no charge. Pigment colour matching and supported-contribution options will also be discussed.

Prices are per session. Final size, complexity and the likely number of sessions are confirmed after consultation.

Small is typically up to credit-card size. Medium is typically up to A6 or postcard size. Larger, multiple or densely affected areas are assessed individually.

3D nipple and areola tattooing

Realistic tattooing that creates the three-dimensional appearance of a nipple and areola following breast surgery, reconstruction or gender-affirming surgery. The price includes the initial treatment and one perfecting session 8 to 12 weeks later. This should normally be completed within 16 weeks unless healing, medical advice or another circumstance agreed with the practitioner requires a longer interval.

Natural areola restoration

Restorative tattooing for people who have an existing nipple or areola but would like to improve colour, shape, symmetry or definition following surgery, scarring, pigment loss or other changes. The price includes the initial treatment and one perfecting session 8 to 12 weeks later. This should normally be completed within 16 weeks unless otherwise agreed for healing or medical reasons.

Areola colour boosts

For existing Pigments In Positivity CIC clients, normally from 12 months after the included perfecting session. A current photograph may be required before booking. Please do not send clinical photographs by ordinary email. We will explain how to share them securely.

Major redesigns, significant correction, changes after further surgery or work completed elsewhere require a new consultation and quotation.

As a Community Interest Company, Pigments In Positivity CIC aims to make restorative medical tattooing more accessible to people who may otherwise be unable to afford it.

Tell us which contribution level would make treatment realistically accessible for you, and we will explain the options currently available. There is no intrusive financial assessment and you will not be asked to prove that you are deserving of care.

Supported places depend on available funding, clinical suitability and appointment availability, so they cannot be guaranteed. Your agreed contribution will always be confirmed before booking, and requesting support will never change the standard of care you receive.

Consultation & booking terms

Important before booking.

A consultation is required before all medical tattooing and scar-revision treatments.
Card details may be required to secure a free consultation.
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange a consultation. Late cancellations and missed consultation appointments may be charged £25.
A 10% non-refundable booking fee is required for self-funded and partly funded treatment. It is deducted from the amount you have agreed to contribute.
Clients receiving 100% funded treatment are asked for a £25 refundable attendance deposit. This rolls over through the agreed course of treatment and is returned after the final attended appointment.
If paying the attendance deposit would create genuine hardship, card details may instead be held securely through our approved booking or payment provider following a confidential discussion. Card details are never recorded or stored manually by Pigments In Positivity CIC.
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange a treatment appointment. With sufficient notice, a booking fee or attendance deposit may be transferred to the rearranged appointment.
Treatment appointments cancelled or rearranged with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged up to 50% of the treatment price.
Missed appointments and no-shows may be charged up to the full treatment price, reflecting the appointment time reserved, preparation already completed and the CIC’s resulting loss. If we are able to refill the appointment, any charge will be reviewed accordingly.
Late-cancellation and no-show charges are not covered by supported funding. Any booking fee or attendance deposit already paid will be applied towards the amount owed.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in funded treatment being withdrawn and the funding reallocated.
The remaining treatment balance is due at the appointment. Pigments In Positivity CIC does not offer payment plans or credit.

Where required, a test patch will be carried out during the consultation at no charge. If a separate colour-match appointment is needed, any likely cost will be explained before you book.
Prices are per session unless the description specifically includes a perfecting session.
The number of sessions varies according to skin, scar tissue, treatment area, healing response and desired result.
No treatment can guarantee complete removal, invisibility or a particular result.
